Designed as a micro sized woolly bugger for universal use, this fly is bright enough to attract fish, yet subtle enough not to spook them. Tied with a bright tungsten jig head, it will keep out of the weeds and not stick on the rocks. This fly is tied on a barbless hook, and not only will it excel in any trout lake or river, it also is great for carp and panfish.

A heavy jig nymph for imitating stonefly nymphs and large mayfly nymphs such as the green drake. You could fish this in the weeks leading up to the hatch in the spring months.
