SaltiMate Tunageat is a 100% fluorocarbon leader that has Sunline's exclusive Plasma Rise technology. Plasma Rise is utilized to modify the surface of this line to a special polymeric layer for a rubber type texture. This surface elasticity increases knot strength by allowing a tighter knot. The polymeric layer also provides a big advantage against abrasions and breakage from snags. These characteristics allow anglers to use smaller size line than normal.
